Project Objectives

The Ghana municipal road authority required a solution that could:

Construction Process
1. Surface Preparation

The road surface was cleaned thoroughly to ensure strong adhesion between asphalt and thermoplastic material.

2. Hot-Melt Application

Thermoplastic road marking paint was heated to 180–220°C and applied using professional road marking equipment

or consistent line thickness.

3. Glass Bead Spraying

Reflective glass beads were evenly distributed on the surface to ensure strong retro-reflectivity at night.

4. Cooling & Final Inspection

The marking solidified quickly, allowing road reopening in a short time and minimizing traffic disruption.
