Why is Thermoplastic Paint Important for Road Safety?
Road marking plays a pivotal role in the safety of the people on the road, the drivers, passengers, or pedestrians. Today, road marking paints are an essential component of road safety. They are now horizontal markings while the traffic lights are known as vertical markings.
With the Road markings, the traffic gets synch. These markings on the roads grab the attention of the drivers. The driver will get to know about their lanes, which will make the traffic much more organized and uniform. Overtaking also becomes easier when the roads are marked with high-quality reflective thermoplastic paint.
How to Use Thermoplastic Paint for Road Marking
The hot-melt marking paint is solid powder at normal temperature. During the construction, the paint is put into the melting kettle. The temperature in the kettle is controlled between 180 °C and 210 °C, and stirred while melting. After melting and flowing, Place in the insulated melt hopper of the scribbling car. The molten coating is then introduced back into the scoring hopper and held warm to maintain the material in a molten state. Before the scribbling, there is a pre-marking machine marking position, and the primer is applied by a lower coating machine at the coating position indicated by the design icon. After the primer is completely dried, the marking paint can be applied. When starting the scribbling, the scribbling bucket should be placed on the road surface. Because there is a certain gap between the scribbling bucket and the ground, when the scribbling car is moving forward, a neat marking line is scraped by an automatic rogue. The glass bead spreader automatically and evenly spreads a layer of reflective glass beads on the marking line.
