5. Construction Method

Step 1: Surface Preparation

Ensure the road surface is clean, dry, and free from dust, oil, and loose particles.

Step 2: Primer Application

Apply suitable road marking primer on concrete or old pavement surfaces to improve adhesion.

Step 3: Heating

Heat the thermoplastic paint to 180-220°C in a thermoplastic preheater until fully melted.

Step 4: Marking Application

Apply the molten paint using a thermoplastic road marking machine according to project requirements.

Immediately apply reflective glass beads onto the surface to achieve optimal nighttime visibility.

Step 6: Traffic Opening

Allow the marking to cool and dry. The road can typically be reopened to traffic within 3-5 minutes.
